Productivity

I am 99% certain I have work to do with a therapist to unpack my obsession with productivity. I honestly don't know how else to explore achieving everything I want to accomplish with this wild, precious life of mine.

I experimented with so many frameworks and personal operating systems that I have lost count. Currently, I am obsessed with Tiago Forte's Second Brain.

Gaming

Video games and Dungeons & Dragons.

I prefer console gaming since I spend so much time on a laptop already. My love of gaming tends to result in constant analogies at work describing which role I am playing for my teams. Most common roles are Tank and Healer.

Organizational Psychology

I am neurodiverse. It sounds ridiculous, but it took me awhile to truly understand the importance of the human element in productive teams.

I believe work can be a source of satisfaction and purpose. Organizational psychology is a way to go beyond individualism to understand the collective.

Leadership

My leadership style is a mix of Servant Leadership and Transformational Leadership.

I first started studying leadership simply to ensure I was worthy of being followed. Once I understood how a leader "controls the weather," I kept studying with the goal of always creating environments and teams that make people want to stay.

Dogs

I have two dogs and yes I call them my fur babies.

Pixel is a Shetland Sheepdog trained to find evil as a puppy. (It was bacon hidden in the Mandiant Managed Defense SOC.)

Yara is a Samoyed, or "Sammie". Yes, she is named after YARA rules. She excels in detecting hands willing to provide rubs.
