The calm, experienced voice you want in the room during a cyber incident.

Helping executives make clear, defensible decisions when cyber incidents unfold.

Executive Advisory Support

Experience built from real incidents, not just frameworks

Cyber incidents force leaders to decide quickly — often with incomplete information, conflicting advice, and real financial, legal, and reputational consequences.

I’m brought in before those moments, to help executives anticipate the chaos, understand what truly matters, and make decisions they can stand behind long after the incident ends.

About

I’ve spent my career working at the intersection of cybersecurity, leadership, and crisis response — where technical realities collide with legal, financial, and human consequences.

I’m known for being the calm, experienced voice in the room when cyber incidents unfold. I work with executives before high-pressure moments to bring structure, clarity, and judgment — helping them make decisions that are defensible in the moment and still hold up months or years later.

My experience spans cyber incident response, cybersecurity program turn-around, and executive advisory. I’ve led and rebuilt security organizations, helped teams mature under real-world constraints, and supported leaders as they navigate incidents involving regulators, attorneys, boards, and public scrutiny.

A core part of my work is building resilient, psychologically safe teams. I’ve seen firsthand that cybersecurity outcomes are ultimately shaped by people — how they communicate, how they decide, and how they perform together under stress. Sustainable teams make better decisions, especially when the pressure is highest.

Practical in Theory exists to close the gap between how cybersecurity is designed by framework and how it actually operates. I help leaders prepare for those moments — and show up with confidence when they arrive.
